The Wairarapa Archive has reached a memorable milestone with over 5000 images now accessible on its Picture Wairarapa database. Archivist Gareth Winter said the Archive was able to achieve this number thanks to funding supplied by the Community Partnership Fund of the Digital Strategy. "Their generous support has allowed us to dedicate time to ensuring the images were up to standard and the metadata was also in good shape. The staff has worked hard on getting so many images available and it is good to see they are being accessed so much."
